Fan He is an award-winning film producer and director based in New York City. As a producer, Fan produced Mojin-The Lost Legend in NYC, a 37 million budget Chinese movie with a part of it shot in the US. Since 2013, Fan has produced more than 15 short films and features in the City, festivals all over the world have selected many.
Fan is also the founder of EnMaze Pictures LLC, a bi-costal international production and distribution company aimed at producing high quality films with both Chinese and American talents. Since it’s founding in 2013, the company has produced more than 20 films/TV series in the US and distributed 40+ American films to China. The company has also handled overseas production for major Chinese studio films shooting in the US, including Wanda Media Co, Huayi Brothers, Hairun Pictures, Jiangsu TV, Daylight Entertament, etc
Fan’s directorial works have won and been nominated for awards at major international festivals. Fan’s film Red Fog, was a semifinalist at the 2014 Student Academy Awards – a competition aimed at recognizing the country’s most promising filmmakers. Past winners include Spike Lee, Trey Parker, Bob Saget and Oscar winners John Lasseter and Robert Zemeckis.
Born in Hubei China, Fan He holds an MFA from City College of New York, and a Masters Degree in Information Science from Wuhan University, China. During Fan’s early career in China, He was the Deputy Editor at Mtime.com and Director of International Content Operation at Huayi Brothers.
